April, 2019. CPAW team members presented about Community Hazard Assessments in the CPAW Program at the Fire Lab Seminar Series hosted by the Rocky Mountain Research Station. The presentation outlines the CPAW program and land use planning tools to reduce wildfire risk, the role of risk assessments, and community examples from the CPAW program. The presentation includes details about the methodology used by Rocky Mountain Research Station analysts to develop customized risk assessments for communities, showcasing examples from Chelan County, Washington; Lewis & Clark County, Montana; Taos County, New Mexico; and other communities.
