Where We Work

We work with, and learn from, communities at all scales and sizes. For instance, in 2015 we worked in highly urbanized metropolitan areas such as Austin, Texas, to moderately populated areas like the City of Bend (OR) and Missoula County (MT), to rural counties and small towns including the City of Chelan (WA) and Taos County (NM).

Every community has a unique planning context and we seek to understand local conditions before applying technical expertise.

We also collaborate with communities to understand their planning approaches. San Diego (CA), Santa Fe (NM), Flagstaff (AZ), and Boulder County (CO) are just a few of the many places that provide us with insights on effective wildfire planning tools.
